Is it considered rude to ask for feedback?
If I was running an E-bay store, would it be kosher for me to include a postcard thanking them for their order and asking them to leave us feedback?

Re: asking for feedback
Mon, July 11, 2005 - 11:52 AMJohn, some people might consider it rude if they were directly asked to leave feedback. But you could try something like, "We were happy to fulfill your order and look forward to doing business with you again in the future. We look forward to reading any comments or suggestions you might have in the form of eBay feedback. Thank you."
Or something like that. -

Re: asking for feedback
Mon, July 11, 2005 - 12:06 PMAs a seller, I always wait for the buyer to leave feedback first, so I know that they are happy with the transaction. There are too many people who are new to ebay that try to solve problems thru feedback.
At the same time, if somebody demands that I leave feedback, I worry about them. A nice note like Rachel posted is fine. Just no "leave feedback or else."
